The flight will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the duration of the winter season in a bid by Aer Lingus to attract those looking for a winter skiing getaway.

Aer Lingus already operates flights to Geneva from Dublin Airport. The airline currently operates fourteen routes from Cork Airport. Flights to Jersey and Prague are no longer available from Cork. There are plans currently being made to offer flights from Cork Airport to Rennes and Lisbon next year.
